Redirection

The Redirection block transfers the call to another phone number.

The block properties contain two types of settings.

The settings block “The method of setting the B-number” is used to specify the phone number to which the call will be forwarded.

Depending on the logic of your script, you can enter the required phone number in the “Phone” line, or set it through any variable in the “Variable” column.

The settings section “Method of setting the A-number” must be configured in cases where it is required that the system, when forwarding a call, transmit the phone number of the subscriber itself, and not the system one.

Two system variables are provided for this purpose: sourceAddr (for incoming scripts) and destAddr (for outgoing scripts). Depending on whether your script is incoming or outgoing, add one of these variables to it, and then select it from the drop-down list in the “Variable” tab in the settings block “Method for setting the A-number”.

If for the purposes of your work it is enough to transfer the system phone number as an A-number, then the settings block “How to set the A-number” can be omitted.
