This block is used to carry out operations with Google Sheets data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can place this block at any part of your scenario and connect it sequentially. This way you can create a sequence of operations with one or several Google Sheets to get the needed results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, one block can assign a value to a cell and the following block can erase it. Or one block can take a value from a cell of one sheet and assign it to a cell of the other one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The block properties include response timeout settings, a drop-down list with connector selection (for more information, see Connectors<\/a>) and a list with a choice of operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Get cell\u2019s value<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This operation extracts the cell\u2019s value and saves it to a variable. While choosing this operation you can specify the \u2018Target Column\u2019 (e.g. A), the \u2018Target line\u2019 (e.g. 1) and specify a variable this value will be saved to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note that you can specify a target line by its number and by a variable. To set a variable, put a brace { in this field and choose a variable from the drop-down list or type it entirely {\u2026}.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Set cell\u2019s value<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This operation assigns a value to the cell. Specify the \u2018Target Column\u2019 (e.g. A), the \u2018Target line\u2019 (e.g. 1) and the \u2018Value\u2019 (directly or using a variable\u2019s value).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note that in the \u2018Value\u2019 field you can enter several variables or some text with one or several variables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This operation clears a cell. Specify the \u2018Target Column\u2019 (e.g. A) and the \u2018Target line\u2019 (e.g. 1).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Get cell’s value with search<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This operation saves a cell\u2019s value that is in the same row with a cell whose value we are searching for. Specify the \u2018Search the value in the column\u2019 (e.g. A), then in the \u2018Search Value\u2019 field enter a text of what you need to find or a variable which value is to be found. Specify the \u2018Target Column\u2019 (e.g. B) which has a cell with a value we need to find and save to a variable. In the \u2018Variable for the result\u2019 drop-down list choose a variable that will have the operation\u2019s result assigned to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, we need to assign to a variable a value of the cell from the B column that has a value \u2018Hello\u2019 in the same row of the A column.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To do this first choose the needed settings in the \u2018Google Sheets\u2019 block. The system will find the \u2018Hello\u2019 value in the sheet and will assign a value 1 to the \u2018name\u2019 variable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This operation is similar to the \u2018Set cell\u2019s value with search\u2019 operation but its result is entered to a cell value that is assigned in the corresponding field or with a variable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This operation is similar to the two previous ones. The result is to clear a cell\u2019s data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Get line’s number with search<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This operation saves into a variable a number of the row that will have the \u2018Search value\u2019. You can enter the \u2018Search value\u2019 directly or with a variable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Add values as line<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This operation fills the cells of the last empty row with the data specified in the \u2018Array of values\u2019 field. The array is in the JSON format.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can enter inside the brackets in quotes separated by commas the values that are assigned to the row\u2019s cells, for example, [\u201c111\u201d, \u201c222\u201d, \u201c333\u201d]. As a result the first row\u2019s cell will have \u201c111\u201d, the second one \u201c222\u201d and the third one \u201c333\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also you can use a variable in an array, for example, [\u201c111\u201d, \u201c{name}\u201d, \u201c333\u201d].<\/p>\n\n\n\n
